First day of school.

Regan had a wonderful first day of school, she looks so different in a uniform!!

The more I exercise the better I feel and the more I want to create, so I have decided to join the Emily Falconbridge art journal 2008. I hope to get back to basics and really enjoy the challenge.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!

I'm in shock at the moment, feel a bit weird!! My wonderful Husband Cameron has been looking for a new job for a few months now and today he got a call to do an interview at 7.00pm tonight and he thinks he might have a postion, but the thing is the job is in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and the starting date is April 1st!!! OMG still feeling weird not sure how to get my head around it yet, ok getting ahead should just wait till he gets the offical word first.

I love leaves.

Leaves are a fav of mine to photograph, they have texture and structure which can create a dramatic vision when altered.

These are some I did today.

Sad to say Bye bye.

Today is Helen and her son Cameron's last day and its finally SUNNY!!! So of to the beach to take some pics of the kids at play!!!

Week 3's theme at Gallery 12 is 'SERENITY', so its camera at the ready!!!

Oh and don't forget week 2 voting has started, get yourselfs over there and be a part of the fun and place your vote for your fav pic.

With all the fun of doing the Gallery 12 challenge I have found myself once again focused on the camera and not the scrapping, creating just a single moment in time and space, seeing the fine detail and provoking feeling in all that I photograph has once again become a passion all consuming when I have my camera in my hand.

Oh what a differance a day makes!!

The weather today was amazing, so off for a walk to the beach and to our suprise there was an Ironman/woman comp, so the day was spent swimming and taking photos of the event.

Feeling so sleepy, now why does a day at the beach do that?

A New Year, time for a rebirth.

Farewell to 2007 a year I would not like to revisit, a year where I found myself struggling with depression and sickness which took a massive toll on my creative side.

My physical self also took a pounding with over eating and comfort food, but with a new year comes a chance for change and my wonderful Husband Cameron gave me a gift of 12 months membership with a personal trainer so this will be my personal challenge to better my health.

A new start and a bit of fun, I was invited to join a photo challenge blog, 52 weeks with a different theme to photograph every week so please come along and visit these very talented ladies and vote for your favorite photo.

Week one's theme is "Brand New" I have already put my photo up in the Gallery but here is another one I did a bit of a play on words!

Do you get it!!!

Here are 2 layouts I did before the end of the year, had fun with the second one.
